Manhattan Cardiovascular Associates is committed to serving and protecting our patients during the COVID-19 crisis.
We are conducting virtual visits in lieu of in-person office visits. As you may have not had a virtual visit, also called a video visit or televisit, in the past, we’ve put together these answers to questions we’ve gotten.
#1 What is a virtual visit?
Our virtual visits are comparable to in-office visits. Instead of commuting to our location, you can video chat with us from home, or another convenient location. During a virtual visit, our health providers can assess symptoms, provide a diagnosis, counsel treatment, and action plans, and also send prescriptions to your preferred pharmacy.
#2 How can you schedule a virtual visit?
Please call us at 212.686.0066 to schedule your virtual visit. Once your appointment is confirmed, you will receive an email that includes links and information for your meeting.
#3 Does your insurance plan cover a virtual visit?
Most insurance plans will cover virtual visits. If you would like to verify your eligibility or need additional information, please call our Benefits Coordinator at 212.686.0066.
Many practices adopt a generic approach to your health care — allowing insurance companies to determine what’s best for you. Manhattan Cardiovascular Associates is different.
Our world-class doctors and staff are committed to helping you overcome any barriers in your path toward better health — including complex insurance plans. We advocate on your behalf, so you can make the most of the benefits you’ve earned, and work with you to create transparency and eliminate billing surprises.
MCVA’s commitment doesn’t stop there. We take the time to get to know you, including your individual risks, goals, and lifestyle preferences — so that we can create programs that are manageable and sustainable. And we devote the time, attention, and resources essential to achieving optimal health — within your means.
Join us and experience a higher level of care.
